When you place your order with the Blind Factory you are agreeing to the following terms.

Sample images

While THE BLIND FACTORY make every attempt to represent the colour and texture of our blinds as accurately as is possible, computer monitors vary considerably in both contrast and brightness, so these images should only be used as a guide only. Because all our blinds are made to order, we cannot be held responsible for blinds that do not match exactly that of the sample image. If the you the customer are at all unsure of the colour or texture of a fabric, then you must request a sample BEFORE placing your order with us. We will only accept returns on this basis.

Window measurements

Recess fixing

A recess fixing puts the blind within the window opening. On these types of blind specific deductions are made in production to allow for operating clearances. These deductions vary from blind to blind and are approximate.

Exact fixing

An exact fixing puts the blind outside the window opening. On these types of blind no deductions are made. The blind will be made to the exact measurements you supply to us on the order.

Payment options

All products ordered from THE BLIND FACTORY are made to your specifications and all orders are paid for when the order is placed using our SECURE PAYMENT PAGE. You will pay the price shown on our web site for the size and type of blind ordered. The total price will be displayed for confirmation before any monies are taken from your card. We use both Paypal and Google checkout payment systems to process secure transactions. It is your choice which method you wish to use when paying for your items.

VAT

All prices quoted on our website are inclusive of vat at the current rate.

Changes, cancellations and refunds

All our products are custom made to your exact requirements and as such are not suitable for resale by us. Therefore it is very important that you are completely sure of your order requirements before placing your order. Your order details are sent to our production department and payment is taken IMMEDIATELY after you complete the order process. Cancellations and amendments must be made by either telephone, email or in writing WITHIN 24 Hrs of receipt of your order. After this period the order will be entered into the manufacturing process and as the blinds are custom made regrettably no hangers to the order can be made.If you cancel your order within the 24hr period, we will credit your debit/credit card as soon as possible It is the responsibility of the customer to check and verify the conformation details that will be sent by email to the address supplied on the order page and to notify us of any anomalies within the specified time.

 

Discontinued and/or backorder items

THE BLIND FACTORY has unfortunately no control over materials that are discontinued or placed on back order by our suppliers. We make every possible effort to remove discontinued items as soon as we are made aware of these but and to make you aware as soon as possible regarding any back orders that have occurred.

Delivery

Delivery takes approximately 7 working days from receiving your order. However we cannot be held responsible for a delayed courier service, strikes etc and we will always try to deliver your order as soon as possible. If there is a possibility you may be unavailable to accept the delivery on the date specified you might consider a different address for the product to be delivered. If the customer is not available to receive the blind, a card notifying the customer of the attempted delivery will be dropped through the letterbox and the item retained by the courier. This will be done a total of 3 times. At this point the item will be returned to us the customer will be charged for re-delivery. Please inspect your blinds as soon as you receive them and notify us immediately of any damages during transportation and make sure the blinds are exactly the items you ordered. Ownership of and risk in the goods will pass to you when delivered and signed for by you. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO NOT SIGN FOR GOODS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT. If you sign for goods damaged we cannot entertain any responsibility for the goods or accept return. YOU MAY SIGN FOR GOODS "AS DAMAGED" and inform us immediately of any damage if occurred to the goods contained within the package. Please note that on occasions a damaged or dented package may well (as intended) contain perfect goods. Blinds received damaged will be replaced or repaired free of charge. ALL blinds purchased from THE BLIND FACTORY carry a 12 month unconditional, no quibble guarantee, against manufacturing faults.
